Big Bad Wolf Burger, $13, Mushroom Chicken Burger, $12, Stella Artois Draft, $8/pint on Sundays
Some time back, I headed to the Big Bad Wolf for Beers and Burgers with my best friend, a fellow S. Sounds like a good combination? You bet. I don't think you can ever go wrong with beer and good company. Their burgers were real satisfying too - both boasted well-toasted homemade buns, good selection of greens with balsamic vinegar dressing, and fresh, chunky fries. The beef patty in the big bad wolf burger was nicely charred while retaining a decently moist center. The mushroom chicken burger was a great combination of mushroom cream sauce and grilled chicken thigh. Needless to say, we were happy girls.
Interior Decked in Dark Hues
The cosy-with-a-splash-of-funk interior was a good take on the name, what with a forest mural and matching seat covers. Wondering who created them? The same people that decided that Clementi deserved a font named after it, just like the many great places that have had fonts named after them. So fabulously creative!
P.S. Check back tomorrow for my new favourite brunch destination!
